How it started
B.P. Mata & Co., Inc. was founded in 1966 by veteran master mariner Captain Benjamin P. Mata. It began with a pioneering vision: to drive positive change and development in the Philippine maritime sector.
Today, after more than fifty years in the industry, the company is recognised for premium goods and reliable safety solutions. We keep strong, exclusive partnerships with the world’s leading safety equipment manufacturers.
We are headquartered in Manila, with a branch at the key port of Cebu, and supply top-tier sea safety, life-saving and fire-fighting products to both.
